Sufi Dervish

Sufi Dervishes constitute the mystical branch of Islam, emphasizing universal love and peace (unlike some of their neighbors, who belong to more militant groups). Originating 800 years ago, some Dervishes in Türkiye practice meditation by whirling, the origin of the term “Dancing Dervishes.”
